CAPSI in Collaboration with Datta Endoscopic Center, New York USA offers an Fellowship in Spine Endoscopy.

CAPSI fellowship program is designed to provide fellows with intensive training in spine endoscopy, and research to meet this growing demand. The fellows will learn to evaluate and treat routine and complicated areas of lumbosacral region. Extensive coverage of the topic with interactive sessions and hands-on training is the highlight of this program.

The mission of the fellowship program is to instil the combination of surgical expertise, experience and precision with a strong moral, ethical and work background. Our fellowship seeks to attract and train only those candidates who possess an exemplary sense of responsibility, integrity and discipline to be successful in their pain practice.

Our ultimate goal is to produce a well trained, academically oriented, disciplined, fellowship-trained spine endoscopist to manage spine patients.

About Fellowship

Fellows will be mentored by select Interventional Pain and Spine physicians at accredited, academic institutions, in India and USA. Each institution will bring unique aspects to the fellowship experience depending upon the clinical focus and the expertise of the hosting physician. Special interests of the fellows will be taken into consideration by the host institution as well, resulting in a complete and well balanced spine endoscopy experience.

– 2 Cadaveric workshops of 3 days each in India
– 1 Live Operative Workshop in New York, USA.
– Online Exam after each workshop.
– Observe and participate in clinical patient evaluation
– Observe various spine surgeries on Live operative workshop
– Participate in rounds and post surgery follow-up
– Exposure to multiple senior surgeons in the hosting institution

Spine Endoscopy Fellowship Program Goals

The goal of our Spine endoscopy fellowship program is to train the best academic and clinical Pain Physician to meet the future needs of our profession in patient care, teaching, and research. We are dedicated to training physicians who can lead our profession in this changing era of health care and research.

The primary means of training is on-site care of patients with Spine Problem over the one-year Spine endoscopy fellowship program in a supervised setting, which enables independent thought and evaluation of patients. Our fellows are exposed to patients in the in-patient and out-patient settings.

A major thrust of the Spine endoscopy fellowship program is to train fellows in the techniques of clinical evaluation and endoscopic techniques.

Fee Structure for Fellowship

Online Entrance Exam Fee is 100 US$

Total Fee for the Fellowship is 5,000 US$

Fee can be submitted in three Installments

  • 2,000 US$ as first installment - after clearing entrance exam
  • 1,500 US$ as second Installment
  • 1,500 US$ as third Installment


Eligibility for Fellowship

  • Practicing Pain Physicians
  • Should Qualify Fellowship Online Entrance exam to be held on 28th Feb 2020.
